Why hire a professional genealogist?

Genealogy is easy, right? So long as you have an Ancestry subscription, you can build your own family tree. Right? Well, maybe. But...

Ancestry and other genealogy platforms are valuable tools, but relying on one website is like searching a single aisle of a library and assuming you’ve read every book. Your ancestors’ stories may be waiting in courthouse files, church registers, local archives, and records that have never been digitized. A professional genealogist helps you explore beyond the familiar shelves—and weigh the evidence you find—to build a well-documented family history.

Professional genealogists have that one little thing most hobbyists lack: Expertise.

Professional genealogists have specialized knowledge and can access records you may not know exist. We can provide an expert analysis of your research which ultimately leads to a comprehensive and accurate family history.

Professionals have access to a much broader range of records and resources than the average hobbyist, saving time, money and delivery quality research.

And isn't that the point?
