  1. Hi,
My name is Denise Thomas Smith. My brick wall lies in the records of North Carolina.
I'm certain my 3rd great grandmother was the daughter of Horace Burton Satterwhite. Mary Elizabeth Satterwhite b. 10 Aug 1831 N.C.
She married George Lawrence sometime before 1850.
I find her in 1850 Burke Co. N.C. living with H
    B. Satterwhite and A.Maria Satterwhite. Elizabeth Lawrence. This matches with her first child, Mary Elizabeth "Ella" Lawrence birth in May 1850 Burke Co. N.C.
In 1860 Tennessee Valley, Rabun County, Georgia she is living with T. Bronson 50 Massachusetts and Anna Bronson 44 N.C. This is Philo Bronson/ Brownson who married Anna Maria Satterwhite. Philo and Anna died before the 1870 census leaving no will.
I'm 1880 I find my granother in Gainesville Hall, Georgia with 4 children and 4 grandchildren. Around 1894 Elizabeth and her daughter Julia moves to Atlanta,Fulton,GA where she remained until her death in Mar h if 1918. Burial Hollywood Cemetery Atlanta,Fulton,GA. I have her daughter Stacey Lawrence Brown death cert verifying her mother's maiden me was Satterwhite.
I've found nothing and no one who has even found this ancestral connection.
I see you know your N.C. re odds very well and that what it is going to take to break down this brick wall that's kept me from going forward for many year. PlZ do a look up for sources to prove this. My email is twooldlemons2@gmail.com. If you should have any questions or have any answers plz email me. I will give you my phone number thoughth email for easier communication. Thank you I'm advance for any help you can provide in solving this ancestral mystery.
